As mentioned on Friday we managed to get a panel at the last minute at Otakon 2009! Thanks to everyone who attended at such short notice, especially with stiff competition opposite the yuri panel.
At the panel we gave a run down of what’s new in our game lineup, as well as a status report on current productions. We introduced Family Project (now on sale!) and confirmed that Cat Girl Alliance will be our next release, as well as talking about the exciting plans for our partnership with Japanese entertainment powerhouse Nitroplus.
JAST USA also had a presence at the boy’s love panel, where the possibility of licensing some of the yaoi titles from the Nitro+Chiral brand was discussed. We don’t have any official announcements in that regard quite yet, but given the overwhelmingly positive reaction we’ve had from BL fans to the idea of bringing one or more of these popular games to English speakers we’re hoping to have more news for you soon.
Though Otakon is over there’s no rest for the wicked, as the JAST USA staff will be heading back to San Diego for this week’s Comic Con! We’ll be at Booth 129 in the exhibit hall through all days of the event, so if you’re planning to be at the world’s biggest industry-organized celebration of comic media, stop by and check us out! More information on our Comic Con activities will be coming up – same bat time, same bat channel.
Finally – some great Demonbane cosplay was spotted at Otakon. Check it out over at Nitroplus USA!

Thanks, it was a lot of fun. You guys are all really great.
I just wanna say I’m excited about the possibility of new Yaoi games finally being released. You can count me in for buying any new Yaoi you put out.
