V-Mate Servers Shutting Down

December 7th, 2010
Announcements, News

Within the next month the Virtual Mate Launcher content management software, previously used to manage many G-Collections download titles, will have its server taken offline permanently. Over the past year we have released V-mate free versions of all G-Collections games that formerly required it, which are available for immediate download to all past customers of these titles (this applies primarily to customers who purchased their games before 2010).

If you have been using Virtual Mate to access your games, we recommend that you uninstall the V-Mate application at this time and download the new, V-Mate free versions of your software. Most titles are available in both a new full installer (V-Mate free and 32/64-bit compatible) as well as a patch for those wishing to upgrade their current installation directly. If you experience issues with the patch, the standalone installer should work in its place.

You can visit http://support.g-collections.com/ any time to log in and download your V-Mate free game upgrades. If you’ve lost your game code, used the five allotted download attempts, or require any other assistance with the upgrade process, please contact us at the Dating Sims support desk at https://help.jlist.com/ and we’ll be happy to provide any troubleshooting assistance you need.

The answer is currently “none of them”. If you have a game that isn’t loading for some reason, you can download an updated version from http://support.g-collections.com/ that should fix any problems you’re having. You’ll want to uninstall the V-Mate client as well, if you have it active, to ensure it doesn’t interfere with the newer versions of the software.

Old games that required V-Mate were G-Collections download titles from Amorous Professor Cherry and earlier.

@carol: This post does not apply to School Days. School Days has no DRM of any kind.
