i’m right in the middle of the game. Just want to make sure that this doesn’t affect any of my saves.
Bought the download. Site says it’s processed and you certainly took my money, but I’m not seeing any option to actually download the game. Don’t recall this being a problem with ‘A Drug That Makes You Dream’, which I also bought by download, but as a guest.
Also am in the same boat (no pun intended) as Desperate Downloader. Bought DL on monday, payment completed on wednesday and still have not received any indication of how to dl my copy even though its been far longer than the 24 hours its supposed to take.

Hello guys. I have a question. When I go to the link of SDHQ Collector edition and select “Add to cart”, ask me the for an option for purchase but the only one is download it, and i want it in C.D. Is this some kind of error or you just have not anymore collector pack + C.D for sell?

@Otamega: That’s an additional option. You don’t have to check it off. If you do check it off, you will get the physical collector’s edition along with a download code.
I have decided to buy the collectors editition aswell. But when clicking the “click to add to cart” button it tells me that I need to check the checkbox for a $5 extra digital download which is not in my interest. Any ideas?

I really want to buy this game, but I wanted to make sure my laptop will be able to handle it before I make the purchase.
I just finished Kira*Kira with no problems whatsoever and I had played the Trial Version of “Ef – A Tale of the Two” with no issues either. Would that indicate any difficulties in running School Days HQ?
Also, how hard is it two download and use the patch (Version 1.02) ? Not confident in figuring that out on my own…

@StarGazer: Your laptop should have no difficulties running School Days. The patch is very easy to install. Also, the download version comes with the patch installed.
It’s the oldest Hp Mini out there though, the HP Mini 1000 -
Intel Processor, 1.60Hz (I believe it’s also a single core)

If I did have difficulties running it on my Mini after download, would I be stuck in that situation?
@StarGazer: Sorry, I spoke too soon. With that machine, it is likely that you will experience lag. I’m told the Intel Atom is a very underpowered processor, and School Days wants a Pentium 4 2.0GHz minimum.
For those of us who preordered the CE and have been enjoying it since release – is there a $5 “upgrade” to get the download as well?

How long does it take before you get the download link? Its within 24 hours of getting the invoice for the order in your email right?

I have saved all the downloads to my computer but when I want to run the final install is keeps telling me that the publisher is not verified. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to disable something on my settings to allow the install to activate? I don’t know if it helps but I’m running windows 8.
@Forrest: There’s no button that you can press to ignore the warning and proceed?
When I open the install it asks “how do you want to open this file?” I choose Internet Explorer. Then it asks if I want to “open” or “save” the file, since I already saved the file I choose “open”. After that is says “The programs publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this program?” I choose “open” again and it takes me back to “How do you want to open this file?” and continues like this in a loop. Unfortunately it does not give me the option to “ignore and proceed”, so is there something I should disable? Or should I open it in something other than Internet Explorer. I am rather new to windows 8 so pardon my ignorance. Thanks for the help.
@Forrest: You probably have a file named “SCHOOLDAYS_Install”. Please rename it to “SCHOOLDAYS_Install.exe”, then run it.

@Minsu: Sorry, couldn’t understand that second line. For the SoundBase initialization error, you probably need to install DirectX 9.0c. Please download http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109, extract the files, then run DXSETUP.exe.
I ordered this game in cd form about a month ago. How long does it typically take for the game to come to the U.S.?
@Griff: Your package was shipped on 2/1. Please check your confirmation email to make sure it was sent to the right address. If it was, please check with your post office.
