Who Are We?
JAST is a leading publisher and localizer of visual novels and dating-sim games for the international market. We work directly with creators and studios to bring their titles to fans worldwide, in a way that respects the original work and ensures the people behind it benefit from its success. We do this for a simple reason: we’re not just distributing these games, we’re part of the audience that cares about them.
Our Story
We started in 1996, bringing Japanese PC visual novels to English-speaking fans when almost nobody else was doing it. Early releases like Season of the Sakura and Three Sisters’ Story helped introduce a style of PC game built on characters, emotion, and choice.
As we grew into the JAST of today, we kept our standards where they’ve always been: close partnership with creators and releases that feel faithful to the wants of fans. The platforms and the market have changed since 1996, but our reason for being here hasn’t. We publish these games because we love them.
