A comparatively short visual novel that is wholly focused on sword combat. A truly unforgettable story.
One of Nitro Origin's and Narahara Ittetsu's visual novels, this is a dark swordsman visual novel, where you play as villain protagonist Takeda Akane, as he fights many weak enemies just to reach "hero" antagonist Igarasu Yoshia, so they can have a fight to the death, also look out for humourous and sad bad endings. Also, play through the visual novel a second time for more funny/sad bad endings, a joke ending, and an absolute mindfuck of a true ending. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! after playing the true end, play through the canon alternate reality minigame Kaigen's Ambition which comes with Hanachirasu, where you can... well... i can't say without spoiling the true ending. I highly recommend you try out this technical prototype of Full Metal Daemon Muramasa. I hope we get the next part of this VN trilogy: Kaigen Seito, which is included in Nitro Origin's fandisc Sabato Nabe, alongside Dra Koi by Demonbane's writer Haganeya Jin, and the side scrolling shooter Nitro Wars.
That's some good boys love without the love. I like how Akane's design is delicate in contrast with the rest of his whole character.
it's short but great, i would totally recommend it!
I didn't expect to love all the detailed swordfighting, but it was great! Main character was also extremely fascinating to follow. Story went places I didn't expect.

Super cool short VN. The fight scenes are incredibly well written.
Cool story that gets drowned in boring exposition.
Be warned, the protagonist is not a good person, nor a neutral one, he's a selfish asshole through and through, and the "normal" ending is achieved by acting exactly how he would, not nicely that is. As for the VN itself, there aren't many decisions, only 3 if I'm not wrong, +3 which you gain after playing again, though those are either uncharachteristics... or joke endings (the latter ones being an absolute blast to go through and single handedly made me me reconsider my opinion from a 7/10 to an 8). It is rather short, you should be able to get all of the endings in a free day, you do also get another game which follows the event of one of the unlockable endings, but that has to be the worst strategy game I've ever played so it almost doesn't matter, though you can get a pretty interesting ending, but I'd much rather recommend seeing on youtube considering the effort and luck required to get it.
