You think Qruppo couldn't do it again? Well they proved your ass wrong. A tighter main loop with some INCREDIBLE main routes and epilogues for characters of the first game, there's so much to love about this. It's good in vastly different ways from 1 and also kind of even more unashamed about its staple exaggeratedly horny romantic-sexuality. If you liked any character from 1 you will love 2, no joke. For my genderqueer family there's also like THREE distinct characters that you find out are all pretty gender in this one. Localization still on-point, expressions never miss, soundtrack is still incredible all the way through. It's just astounding how much more depth is faithfully written into the characters already so full of personality from the first game. I did tear up when I was done with this one, it's gonna be something I have to come back to in 10 years to experience again. Do yourself a favor: don't spoil yourself, go experience it after you finish 1! EN DLC someday???
SPOILER ALERT!! This is the first visual novel (VN) game I’ve played that feels truly innovative in introducing new heroine routes: The concept of traveling to a parallel world where you fight against former allies is fresh and engaging, requiring you to reset your relationships with characters from the first game. All the heroines who were rejected by the main character in the original game become the primary routes in this sequel. Since you’ve already built connections with these characters in the prequel, the game dives straight into the dating simulator experience, skipping the initial acquaintance phase. It also includes routes from the previous game as a fan disc, adding extra value. With a more thrilling plot, I’ve only completed one route, and I already feel it’s worth the full price I paid.
