Started off fine, characters acted awkward but that's normal given the new home for the MC. But quickly realised that none of the characters grow at all, especially the MC, meaning everything stays awkward almost the entire time. Anytime Amahara would grab the MCs arm he would freak out and stutter, that's normal. But after doing it 50 times he still acts like it's the first time. Similar thing with Yashiro, she would act serious about something weird and when the MC questions her about it she'd laugh and say she was joking. But after doing that 10 times the MC still reacts like EHH?! WHAT?! not knowing she's joking. Since the MC doesn't grow in any way all the dialogue feels the same, ended up quiting before the Kazuha route. Forced awkwardness, forced humour, nothing truly felt natural. The male friends never felt like real friends, they were just 'otaku character' and 'gay character' meant to push the humour along. This one made me groan with how much I hated how the MC acted.

Great romance visual novel with 3 heroines with genuinely decent comedy. The protagonist is portrayed as a no-good, poorly skilled slob usually (mostly in a joking manner), particularly in one route, so if that is not for you I would not recommend it- there is a lot of that. I think the term is Hetare? The art is really good , and the banter between the characters is really well done too, side and main charas, and there are serious situations that the characters go through(nothing dark or overly dramatic). Regardless, full marks from me even though hetare is not my sort of thing which I think speaks to the quality of it more than anything.
